BAR-BUILDING (#1): special guest

Eric Mayer, grandson of the owner and founder of the original Mayer's Bakery, will attend our first bar-building and talk about the history of the space, and, with a little luck, he'll even bring old blueprints and photos of the Bakery as it was, as well as a loaf of bread baked by his grandfather, who still bakes regularly.  We are so looking forward to meeting him.

    Hello,

    I am John Mayer's grand daughter and I wanted to say that we are very thrilled to know that someone will finally be providing this amazing space with the love it needs once again. I will be attending this event with my brother and possibly my father. I am so excited to get to come back into the building where I used to roll dough with my Opa and Oma (grandpa and grandma in German). Thank you so much for caring for this space. It means a lot to my family.
